No cookies, no analytics, no tracking
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no tag manager, no advertising network, no consent platform and no chatbot. Fonts, images and video posters all load from this server, so no third party learns of your visit simply because you opened a page.
The contact form
Sending the form passes your name, your email address and your message to our mailbox, together with the time you sent it. We use them to answer you and nothing else. We keep the correspondence while the matter stays open, then delete it. We pass none of it on. Writing to info@motheroffascia.com directly amounts to the same thing.
Legal basis: Art. 31 para. 1 FADP and Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR — answering an enquiry you chose to send.
The trailer
The trailer sits behind a click. Until you press play, your browser sends nothing to YouTube. Pressing play loads the player from Google, which then receives your IP address and may set its own cookies under Google’s terms. The caption under the player says so before you click.
Server logs
Webland (Multimedia Networks AG, Kirchgasse 30, 3312 Fraubrunnen) hosts this site in Switzerland, and our mailbox sits with the same provider. Their servers record each request in the ordinary way: browser and version, operating system, hostname, IP address, time, the files fetched, the page you arrived from, whether the request succeeded, and how much data went over. Those entries serve security and troubleshooting, and Webland deletes them once they no longer serve that purpose, within three months at the outside.
Legal basis: Art. 31 para. 1 FADP and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — keeping the site running and secure.
What your browser stores
Dismissing the privacy notice writes a single flag to your browser’s session storage so the notice stays away for the rest of your visit. Closing the tab discards it. No cookie carries it, and it identifies nobody.
Where your data goes
Nowhere abroad. The site, the mailbox and the logs all stay in Switzerland. The only exception arrives by your own hand: pressing play on the trailer, or following a link to Vimeo, Amazon, IMDb, Facebook or Instagram, hands you to that company under its own privacy terms.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our holding it at all. Write to info@motheroffascia.com and we will answer.
Should our answer leave you unsatisfied, you may raise the matter with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Bern. If you live in the European Union, you may instead complain to the supervisory authority where you live, where you work, or where you think the problem arose.
